Detect a water leak and automatically shut off the water supply with a correctly configured Ajax scenario. This three-device kit combines Hub 2 4G, a LeaksProtect detector and a WaterStop valve. Choose the colour of the kit and the valve connection size.
Have the pipe connection size and available installation space checked first. Choose ½ inch (DN15), ¾ inch (DN20) or 1 inch (DN25) to match the connection. One detector monitors its immediate location; add detectors for separate risk areas such as the washing machine, dishwasher and utility room.
Place LeaksProtect where leaking water is likely to collect. Pair the detector and WaterStop with the hub and configure a scenario that closes the valve on a water alarm. Then test the complete sequence, including the phone notification. Closing the valve limits the supply; water already released and other leak sources still require attention.
The hub requires mains power and an internet connection. Mobile connectivity requires a suitable SIM card and data plan. The included Hub 2 4G uses Ethernet and mobile networks; it has no Wi-Fi. Have the valve fitted to the water pipe and keep it accessible for maintenance and manual operation.
Available in white or black; all three devices match the selected colour. The WaterStop size determines the version and price. The overview photo shows the white kit. This is a water leak monitoring kit; intrusion detectors and sirens can be added separately.
