ASAT ADVICE

EYON Wired ET-200: keep track of what is yours

A hardwired GPS tracker for your motorhome, car, motorcycle or company van. Connect the EYON Wired to a suitable 9–90 V DC power source and view locations, trips and alerts in the EYON app or online platform.

3 benefits

  • No monthly subscription.
Free basic tracking while the tracker works and is actively used.
  • Hardwired 9–90 V connection.
Vehicle power with a backup battery for temporary power loss.
  • More insight through the app.
View the location and trip history. Set up a geofence and receive alerts when your vehicle enters or leaves your chosen area.

3 practical tips

  1. Check the power supply before installation.
Use a suitable constant 9–90 V DC connection in accordance with the manual. For an e-bike or fatbike, have the connection checked for compatibility; a matching battery voltage alone is not enough.
  2. Install neatly and test reception.
Choose a sheltered mounting location with GPS and mobile reception. After installation, check that new locations are received. A metal enclosure can reduce reception.
  3. Enable alerts and run a practical test.
Allow push notifications and background activity for the app. Test your geofence and movement alerts. Also monitor the vehicle battery during long periods of storage.

Which use suits you?

The Wired is a practical choice for a motorhome, car, motorcycle or company van with a suitable permanent power source. It can also be used in a caravan or fatbike if a suitable constant power supply and mounting location are available. If you remove your bike battery or switch off the vehicle power, the internal backup battery provides only temporary backup.

Tracking helps you locate your vehicle but does not prevent theft. Location updates and alerts depend on power, reception and the selected settings.
