ASAT | AJAX SECURITY
Protect locations without a fixed mains supply, such as a temporary building, storage site or construction site. Hub BP is designed for suitable battery power, mobile 4G communication and supported wireless Ajax devices.
Select the power configuration for the temperature, operating conditions, required runtime and communication settings. There is no single battery-life figure for every installation. Ask ASAT to check the required battery, compatible detectors and SIM with a data plan before ordering.
List the detectors, users and security groups you need. Pay particular attention to photo verification, connection methods and support for newer accessories. Choose the location according to radio and network coverage. Test the installation’s response when its normal internet connection or power supply fails.
For system integration, check the exact hub model and software before ordering. Follow the manufacturer’s installation and test instructions.
ASAT in Roermond can help select the right combination of hub, detectors and controls. Contact us for advice, an installation quotation or help expanding your system.
Start with your internet connection and available power supply. Then decide which detectors and functions you need. These are the four standalone hub models in our range.

View Ajax Hub 2 4G →Ajax Hub 2 Plus

View Ajax Hub 2 Plus →Ajax Hub BP
Designed for a suitable battery supply and mobile connectivity. Have battery capacity, coverage and settings matched to the intended use.
View Ajax Hub BP →Ajax Hub 1
A basic control panel with Ethernet and GSM/2G. Check device and network operator support before choosing this model.
View Ajax Hub 1 →| Hub | Internet connection | Wi-Fi | MotionCam photo verification | Power supply |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hub 2 4G | Ethernet + 2 SIM slots (4G) | No | Yes, with a compatible detector | Mains + built-in backup |
| Hub 2 Plus | Ethernet + Wi-Fi + 2 SIM slots (4G) | Yes | Yes, with a compatible detector | Mains + built-in backup |
| Hub BP | 2 SIM slots (4G) | No | Yes, with a compatible detector | Suitable battery / external supply; configured separately |
| Hub 1 | Ethernet + 1 SIM slot (2G) | No | No | Mains + built-in backup |
Photo verification requires a compatible MotionCam detector, which is not supplied with a standalone hub. Mobile connectivity requires a suitable SIM card, data plan and network coverage. Hub BP has no Ethernet or Wi-Fi; a battery is not included as standard. Always check current hub, accessory and software compatibility.
Is radio coverage your main concern? ReX 2 is a range extender for a compatible hub and does not replace the control panel.
Need help deciding? Tell ASAT about your property, room count, intended detectors and available internet and power supply. We can help you put together a suitable hub and kit.
